The Gold Rush Racing Syndicate was set up by myself Mike Golding with my partner Wendy. We are passionate racing people who always put the best interest of our horses first in every decision we make. We want the racing experience to be an enjoyable occasion in a friendly atmosphere and a good day out at the races. We offer a great opportunity to all our members to get involved first hand at an affordable level

 

Mike was a professional comedian for 25 years who has worked in nearly all the top theatres in the Uk and internationally at a very high level. Working with many top stars and performing to royalty. Mikes love affair with the sport of horse racing began when he was very young and he has owned racehorses for many years. Starting out with point to pointers with his long standing good friend Jethro another horse enthusiast and successful breeder. Moving on to national hunt and flat horses Mike has also had a lot of success. Over the years Mike has built up many good friendships and close relationships with people in the racing community and is a well-respected student of the form book which has been invaluable in our selection of horses and success

 

We have always been very interested in the breeding side of racing and in 2013 we started our own breeding operation Golding Bloodstock. We have started by breeding from genuine mares who have raced and showed ability for us. We also have some lovely mares that are very well bred from good genuine families. At the moment, we have some quality foals, yearlings, 2 year olds & older horses. With our broodmares and contacts our stock is growing all the time. We are looking forward to the future.
